by LAUREN STEVENSON Chapter President Michelle Arriaga enjoys the Holiday Party Lead by Chapter President Michele Arriaga, Howard High School of Technology has been eager to meet their buddies for quite some time. When their match party finally happened on December 15th it was a truly joyous occasion. The Howard School of Technology was paired with Buddies from the Opportunity Center, Inc. The match party had a holiday theme that consisted of holiday music, fun winter crafts and board games. James Fultz a Buddy from the Opportunity Center, Inc. and his new Peer Buddy, Ethel Rodriguez hit it off really well and enjoyed playing the board game Trouble together. Mayra Pagan-Torres and her new Buddy, Chris Riberio got creative and made a snowflake craft out of construction paper and glitter glue. Overall, the Howard High School of Technology’s Best Buddies chapter is off to a fantastic start. They’re even planning a field trip to visit their host site, the Opportunity Center, Inc. We’re excited to watch their chapter grow and their friendships blossom.
